Afghani Pulao is a national dish of Afghanistan. It is also called as Kabuli Pulao, taking its name from Kabul (Capital of Afghanistan). This dish is a combination of Rice and lamb. Usually mutton is used in this recipe. Dry fruits are also key ingredients of this recipe. Due to its simplicity and rich in taste, it is very much liked in Pakistan. Ingredients of this recipe are as under: -- Rice - 1 kg -- Mutton - 1 kg -- Cooking Oil - 1 Cup -- Onion - 3 Medium to small size -- Garlic Paste - 2 table spoon -- Cumin (Zeera) - 2 table spoon -- Kali Mirch - 1/2 table spoon -- Cloves (Long) - 8 to 10 -- Green Cardamom - 12 to 15 -- Black Cardamom - 6 to 7 -- Salt - 2 table spoon (according to taste)

-- Julienne Cut Carrot - 2 cup -- Kishmish - 1 cup
